Yankee Baseball Tickets: Five Reasons Why You Must Order Yours In Advance

By: Steve Hall

From the day in 1846 when the first baseball match kicked off between the New York baseball club and the Knickerbockers , the game has come a long way.

Today major league baseball rules, way ahead of others! Should you be a fanatic follower of the game, inexpensive tickets are required, as you are actually looking forward to watching as many games as you can, without having to spend a fortune. These then are 5 reasons why you should make reservations for all the matches in advance:

1. Enthusiasts of the game from Chicago have special reasons for following the game, which is as typically representative of America as Chicago is. The establishing of the Baseball Museum was to guarantee we do not stop thinking about Chicago's role in developing the sport. But, this happening would be extremely far-fetched, with sportsmen such as Paul Konerko, Carlos Zambrano, Minnie Minoso and Ernie Banks becoming part of the legends of the game.

This is the only city that has 2 accredited Major League baseball teams: Chicago White Sox in the American League, and Chicago Cubs in the National League. Chicago Cubs, in particular, deserve mention for their stunning performance in the National league this season.

2. The Los Angeles Dodgers' 8-2 win over the Rockies on June 2, 2008 gave us a hint of what a potent presence the Dodgers have had in the sport all these years. Right now second on the the National League West standings and hot on the leaders' trail, they are strong contenders to reckon with. In 2004, when they won the West Division championship, they revived hopes of a repeat of their best year, 1988. Then, the Dodgers lifted the trophy at both the National League pennant AND the World Series.

3. People in New York, above all, would be loathe to miss watching the record-breaking Yankees. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to describe the Yankees as the most successful team in the history of American baseball. With 26 World Series and 39 American League cups in the kitty, they will hope to reclaim the East Division title in the coming season after not retaining it in 2007, the 1st time in a decade.

4. The Washington Nationals baseball team is fairly new to the baseball league, having been shifted from Montreal as recently as 2005. Whilst the team's advancement in the N.L. could have been better than has been the case, in the 2007-2008 off-season we saw two exciting new faces, Elijah Dukes and Lastings Milledge, become part of the team. These young players are likely to give the team a fillip over the next two seasons. With their stated goal of making Washington the epicenter of the game, the Nationals have made certain of lots of interested scrutiny from ardent followers of the game.

5. The coming season is only months away. You wouldn't want to be caught napping with no tickets in October when the best-of-seven playoffs begin. Particularly if your favorite team is one of the teams in the fray.

You don't have to go out of your home, this year, to purchase the tickets you need. They can be bought, online, for each and every match, whether regular season or post-season.
